Treynor MS/HS Counselor

Hello, I am Danie Floerchinger, the 6-12 school counselor at Treynor Community Schools.

I have seven years of school counseling experience at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. I love being a school counselor because of the individual and small group time I have with students. I also enjoy working with students and parents to identify coping skills and solutions to problems.

I studied Youth Ministry at Northwestern College before completing my Master's degree in K-12 School Counseling at Wayne State College. I have seen the value of education at every level and hope to guide students toward postsecondary education or training that is right for them.

As for my family, my husband is Alex Herrington and he is a high school science teacher here at Treynor. We have two daughters, Raya and Lexi, and one son, Ronan, whom we love very much. We currently live outside of Treynor on an acreage.
