Board Approves Facility Plans

The Treynor CSD School Board approved the new facility plans at the board meeting last night, Monday, June 10, 2019.  The project team includes BCDM Architects, Lamp Rynearson, Morrissey Engineering and Alvine Engineering. A compressed version of the plans can be reviewed here. Utility and earth work has already begun on the high school addition, approved in an earlier phase of the new facilities projects.

The timeline for hearings, notices, bids and construction include:

June 10: Public hearing for plans, specs, form of contract, and estimate of costs

June 11: Public notification to contractors

June 13:  Pre-bid conference at 2:00 P.M. in board office for interested contractors

June 27: Receive bids at 2:00 P.M. - high school projects

July 8: Board awards the bid for high school projects

August 15: Construction starts on performing arts center

Nov 15, 2020: Substantial completion of high school fine arts facilities
