Face-to-Face Resources
To refer your child for mental health services, please contact Carrie Currin at the elementary at ccurrin@treynorcardinals.org or Danie Floerchinger at the middle/high school at dfloerchinger@treynorcardinals.org. To make an appointment with Ms. Floerchinger, please find a time here.
A Greenhills AEA Mental Health Social Worker is in our district on Thursdays and Fridays.
Referral process:
1) Sign a consent to release information between the school and the social worker.
2) School counselor will fill out a referral form online.
3) Social worker will contact parent(s) and start to meet with student during a study hall or other available time slot.
University of Iowa Scanlan Center for School Mental Health Resources:
- Welltrack Connect, a free streamlined referral service where school staff and students can find a mental health professional that meets their needs
- Nurturing Healthy Minds flyers, website, and videos for parents/caregivers to help you distinguish between stress, distress, and crisis in your child
