SCHOOL NEWS
Summer Meal Program. Through the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), every child aged 18 and under can enjoy no-cost summer meals. Go to https://www.fns.usda.gov/meals4kids to find meal sites. A few local sites include: Council Bluffs Public Schools, Lewis Central, and Carson. This is for any school-aged child, regardless of where they attend.
School Supply Kit Ordering for PK-8th If you want to order school supply kits that will be delivered to the school in the fall before the new year begins, click here to get your order in. This service is brought to you by Junior Treynor Women and School Kidz. The school code for Treynor is 10056. The order deadline is June 21st.
The Music Department Trip to Nashville is coming up in 2027! Now is a great time to join the band and/or the choir for 2026-27! Mrs. Davis and Ms. Powell (our next 5th-12th grade band director, starting in July) will be taking the HS Music Department on a 4-night/5-day trip to Nashville March 17th thru 21st, 2027. To be eligible for this experience, students must enroll in 2 semesters of a high school music ensemble. Come be part of a great ensemble, make great music, meet great people, and have a great adventure! Read the parent letter for details about this trip. Fill out the tour consent form and return with a $50 deposit by May 29th.
Classroom Grant Donations can be made throughout the year and your tax deductible contribution will be put toward future projects. Donate to the classroom grant fund so we can help even more teachers in the future!

Summer Strength & Speed Schedule is Posted! The Summer Strength & Speed schedule has officially been released. You can find the schedule posted on the school bulletin board, on the Treynor camps webpage, and on our X feed (@TreynorStrength). For a complete breakdown of group times and extra details, please head over to the Cardinal Performance webpage. Let’s make it a great summer of hard work and improvement!
Summer Camps webpage has been posted as a site to check out for activities happening in and around our school this summer. Check back often as coaches submit their information. Keep in mind that camps usually have registration deadlines to guarantee t-shirts. Summer camps list as of this bulletin:
- June 15-June 17: Treynor Youth Girls Basketball Camp for 2nd-5th and 6th-8th Graders. Download flyer and registration form for more information. Register by May 29th to guarantee a t-shirt.
- June 22-June 25: Track/XC Camp. Register by June 1st to secure a t-shirt. Click here for registration and information.
- June-July: Summer STEM Camps at Impact Hill in Oakland are scheduled for June and July. Check out impacthill.org or register here.
- June 11-July 16: Junior Golf Camp at Bent Tree Golf Course. See flyer for details.

ACT Test Options are available in July, September, October, or December. It is recommended that juniors take the ACT this summer or fall. Go to myact.org to register for the test. Select “paper option”.

Fundraiser for High School Student Dylan Dreyer will be held at St. Paul on Friday, June 5th from 4-7 p.m. Pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw and desserts will be served for a free-will offering. Take out is available by calling or texting 402-680-8172. This fundraiser will help support the Dreyer family as Dylan begins cancer treatments.
The 5th Annual Tristan's Trail 4-mile Run/1K Walk will be held on Saturday, July 11th at 8:00 a.m.. The registration link is live here. Register before the deadline to ensure a t-shirt (late order t-shirts will not be supplied). Please come join us; you can run, jog, or walk. Or, if you're more into volunteering, reach out to us via their FB Page.
Summer Family-Friendly Concert Series in Treynor’s Greenspace (area beside TSBank) will be held on June 11th, July 16th and August 13th. Mark your calendars for these events, which will be family-friendly featuring live music and food. Check out the flyer for the dates and details. Refer to the City of Treynor’s website article or their Facebook page for updates. Information for the first two sessions: June 11th and July 16th. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets.
Treynor Blood Drive is scheduled for Thursday, June 11th from 11:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Treynor Community Center. Sports Trainer’s Schedule: Josh Bintz training room hours for 2025 will be Mondays 3:00-4:30pm and Thursdays 7:30-9:00am. Injury reports will still be going out regularly via email but as always, feel free to message me with any questions or concerns!

- To purchase an Activity Pass or game-day passes, go to Treynor's GoBound Ticket Page. While entry gates will have card readers available, pre-purchasing your digital tickets will speed up the process.
Bus Transportation is for students who have been assigned a bus through the transportation department and routinely ride to and/or from school. For bus management and student safety, students are only allowed to ride their assigned bus.
The speed limit in the school zone on Highway 92 is 25 mph during times when the lights are flashing. The school zone is highlighted in red below. These lights flash in the morning from 7:40 - 8:20 a.m. and in the afternoon from 3:20-3:50 p.m. (1:50-2:20 p.m. on 2:00 p.m. dismissal days). NOTE: The crosswalk flashing is managed by the City of Treynor.
