Homecoming Info The Homecoming 2026 Web Article is a resource for the details of the week.
- Homecoming Dance: The dance is October 10th (Saturday) and it is open to 9th -12th grade students ONLY. This year it will be at the Treynor Community Center from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $5 a person. Evan Smith will be DJing the dance this year and there will be snacks, cornhole, and photo opportunities!
- Parents, if you are picking up your child, we do ask that you arrive by 8:45. This ensures a prompt pick up since we are not at the school and we need to get everybody out of the building. Thank you in advance!
FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) is holding a fundraiser through October 19th to help offset the cost of the State Leadership Conference held in April 2027.

Last Year’s ELEMENTARY Yearbooks
- These should be arriving any time! They will be distributed as soon as they are received.
- If you are not sure if you ordered, or want one of the extras when they arrive, please contact Mrs. Endriss - rendriss@treynorcardinals.org
Last Year’s MS-HS Yearbooks
- We have extra 2025-2026 MS & HS yearbooks that came in recently. If you didn't purchase one and would like a copy, send payment to "THS Yearbook" ($35 for MS yearbook and $75 for HS yearbook). Act fast, we have limited supply.
- We will also have extra 2025-2026 Elementary books - If you did not get yours last year, these will be available to purchase when they arrive at $30 a book. Payments can be made out to “THS Yearbook”, but can be sent to school with your elementary child to claim your book. Once payment is received, a book will be sent home with your child.

Activity Sponsorship Opportunities & Benefits. The success our students achieve in athletics, fine arts, speech, music, and countless other activities is only possible because of the investment made by those who believe in our programs. To continue providing outstanding opportunities for our students, we are actively seeking sponsors for the 2026-27 school year. Junior High Strength & Speed: JH Weight lifting will begin on Tuesday, September 8th at 7am in the weight room. Check out the full 2026-2027 calendar (subject to change).
ACT Test Dates: Dec 12 | Feb 27 | Apr 10 | Jun 12 | Jul 10. The ACT is a standardized test encouraged but not required for 4-year college bound students. Register online at ACT.org.
Classroom Grant Donations: Make a tax-deductible contribution to support future teacher classroom projects. Support our teachers via the Classroom Grant Fund.
COMMUNITY NEWS
St. Paul Lutheran Church is having a 5th Quarter for middle school students
- Where: St. Paul Youth Center (located in the basement of the preschool)
- When: After football game until 11:00 pm. Gate will be open from FB stadium to St. Paul
- Questions: Denise Wilson at 402-680-8172
- Details: Come and hang out with your friends and enjoy some snacks, drinks, game tables, or just chill to a movie. Sign-in and sign-out required, with no return after leaving.
You’re Invited: Treynor Through the Years Celebration
- When: On Sunday, October 18 from 2-4 PM
- Where: The new historic mural and the Treynor Community Center.
- Time: The mural will be dedicated at 2 PM, and at 2:30 PM there will be a brief Treynor's Tomorrow update. At 2:45 we will serve free root beer floats and at 3 PM we will have community Bingo.
- Details: AARP provided the generous grant for the two new murals, park signs, and this event! Please come for part or all of the event! See the flyer for details.
Community Trunk or Treat & Carnival
- Trunk Host Sign-up: If you would like to host a trunk, please sign up by completing this form.

- Time: 1:00-3:00 p..m
- Location: Community Building Parking Lot (West Side, Fire Station Side)
- Cost: Free for kids!

School Zone Speed Limits:
- Speed Limits: 25 mph is effective in the school zone on Hwy 92 during the flashing times of 7:40-8:20 AM & 3:20-3:50 PM (1:50-2:20 PM on 2:00 PM dismissal days).
School Bus Safety:
- Bus Transportation Notice: Assigned buses are for designated regular riders only. For management and safety, students may only ride their assigned bus.
