Homecoming 2026

Homecoming 2026 is scheduled for the week of October 5, 2026, with Homecoming Day festivities and the football game against the Red Oak Tigers on Friday, October 9, 2026. 

This year's theme is "Children's Books" with the motto "One Team, One Story, One Goal". 

Friday, October 9th Schedule

8:00    Elementary, Middle and High School have their own activities in the morning. Students will be given this information.

11:30  High school students will be dismissed and should promptly leave school grounds.

11:30  Middle School and remaining high school students will eat lunch and stay with teachers.

11-1   Burgers, brats & hot dogs @ Zion. Zion Flyer

1:00   Pep Rally at Athletic Complex. Please refer to the Pep Rally seating document for section assignments.

1:45  Parade begins (route will run west to east, with floats lining up in the football field south visitor parking lot). Elementary floats will park and line up in the St. Paul parking lot here.

  • Community parade entities need to fill out the Homecoming 2026 Parade Entry Form.
  • K-12 Float Information
  • Busses will leave immediately after parade
  • If there is inclement weather, the parade will be canceled and we will have an adjusted schedule. The Pep Rally would be at 1:00 in the West Gym, including Coronation. Busses would run at the completion of the Pep Rally.

3:00-4:30  Cardinal Core Youth Combine Event for K-5 Girls and Boys. More details to come. 

4:00-5:00  Homecoming Carnival in the HS Parking Lot presented by Treynor Dance Team. More details to come.

5:15-6:45  BBQ & Hot Dog Dinner @ St. Paul. See flyer for more details.

7:00  Football game at athletic complex. Treynor will play against Red Oak.

Dress-Up Days & Decorating Monday 10/5 through Friday 10/9

Students will be taking part in Homecoming week events at school, such as hall and door decorating. Students and staff are encouraged to take part in the dress-up days during the week.Hats/head-wear may be worn but must be part of the dress-up theme for the day. Please be sure the way you dress follows the proper guidelines for modesty, morality and shows respect for others.

High school students will take part in a contest between classes where points are given for various activities. Check out the points system. The results will be announced at the Pep Rally.

Saturday, October 10th

What:  Homecoming Dance for 9th-12th Grade Students

Where: Treynor Community Center

Time:  TBD

To the parents picking up their child from the dance: Please arrive BEFORE 9 p.m. This ensures all students are collected promptly and our chaperones can get home as well. Thank you for your help and support.
