JOI Club Toy Drive
Over the last couple of weeks, Middle School and High School class groups collected gifts and money for the New Visions "Adopt-a-Child" holiday program. This project was coordinated by the High School JOI Club. The student groups brought in over 130 gifts and more than $1200 in cash. With cash in hand, some of the JOI members went shopping to finalize each child's wish list. The result is 250+ gifts to be distributed to the 20 children that were adopted from New Visions.
"We are fortunate to have so many who are willing and able to give during the holiday season. Without the help of everyone, this project would not be possible. It is a joy to see the excitement of the JOI representatives and shoppers when they bring in the goods, knowing how much the gifts will help make a child's Christmas a little brighter" stated JOI Club Sponsor Shelly Bailey. This project is a yearly project of New Visions and they get over 500 requests each year.
