We are thrilled to announce that a generous donor has pledged $10,000 to the Treynor Schools Fund, with a one-to-one matching challenge! This incredible opportunity allows us to double the impact of every contribution made. The Treynor Schools Fund, in collaboration with the Four Corners Community Foundation, aims to enhance the academic achievements of PreK-12 students by awarding classroom grants.

Classroom grants will be introduced for the 2025-2026 school year with a maximum award of $500, and available for various educational needs such as field trips, career tours, supplies, books, and equipment. These grants support our mission to provide funding for projects that enrich educational experiences, supplement classroom activities, and promote student learning. They also boost hands-on learning in the classroom and support teachers with creative ideas to enhance teaching experiences.

Applications will be made available after the first of the year for teachers to apply. In the spring, awards will be announced and be able to be used for the beginning of the school year in fall 2025. At this time, a maximum of $500 will be awarded per request.

Here are examples of how your generosity can help:

• For $25: Help one child receive essential supplies or attend a field trip.
• For $50: Support tech-based needs such as tablets and microphones or new STEM equipment like microscopes.
• For $100: Assist in funding transportation or equipment for career exploration, job shadowing, internships, and other outside classroom academic experiences.

Every $25 donation supports one child! Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of students and teachers in the Treynor Community School District. Let's work together to inspire and support our future leaders!
