Our students had an incredible week of performances and competitions! Here's a recap of recent highlights and a look ahead at upcoming events:
January 20-25 Recap:

Girls Varsity Wrestling @ Lewis Central (9:15 AM):
Liz Young placed 4th, and Jordyn Boswell placed 6th after a strong performance. -
SWIBA HS Honor Band:
Bailey Roberts (Flute), Hannah Gann (Clarinet), and Addy Magill (Alto Sax) gave a fantastic performance, representing Treynor Fine Arts with excellence. -
Boys Basketball vs. Woodbine @ AL:
Defeated #3-ranked Woodbine in Class 1A with a 51-33 victory. -
JH Girls Basketball vs. AHSTW (Home):
Secured two wins in front of an enthusiastic home crowd. -
JH Boys Wrestling @ AHSTW:
Wrestled tough and gained valuable experience in a challenging competition.

Boys Wrestling Triangular (Home):
Treynor secured a win against AHSTW with strong performances.-
Senior Night: Honored seniors Andyn White, Jordyn Boswell, Genevieve Deitchler, Emma Miller, Kallie Danker (also sang the National Anthem!!), Brynna Huffman, Griffin Gregg, Lowell Knott, and Zack Robbins for their contributions over the last four years.

Youth Appreciation Night: Recognized and celebrated future Cardinal wrestlers for their hard work and dedication.

Basketball @ Underwood:
Girls Varsity won 49-33, and Boys Varsity won 55-42 in competitive match ups.

WIC Jazz @ Audubon:
Treynor students delivered stellar performances, showcasing their talent.

JH Girls Basketball @ Tri-Center: Played strong games and continued their great season.

JH Boys Wrestling @ Logan-Magnolia: Wrestled hard against tough opponents.

JV Girls Basketball vs. Atlantic (Home): Secured a strong win.

Varsity Girls Basketball vs. Atlantic (Home): Faced a tough loss against a very competitive Atlantic Team.

January 24:

Varsity Girls and Boys Basketball vs. AHSTW (Home):
Girls Basketball had dominant wins at both levels. Boys Basketball also secured victories, including an overtime win for Varsity. -
Always great to hear the Pep Band!!

Halftime Performances:

Girls Halftime: A wonderful solo performance by Delaney Jorgenson.

Boys Halftime: A fun performance by participants of a dance clinic hosted by the Treynor Dance Team throughout last week. They definitely showcased their hard work on the gym floor!

Speech Competition @ Glenwood:
Six groups (26 students) advanced to State Large Group Speech in Waukee on February 8. Congratulations to all participants on outstanding performances! -

January 31st - Class 1A Regional Wrestling @ Red Oak. Important information to know:

South doors will open at 3:00 PM for spectators. Enter south doors for admission. East doors will be locked. Start time for wrestling is 4:00 PM.

Admission: NO CASH ACCEPTED. To expedite admission and cut down on wait time, we prefer tickets are purchased online. Tickets will be sold on Bound and available for purchase on Monday January, 27th. DIRECT LINK:

GIRLS WRESTLING REGIONAL TICKETS. There will be card readers at the gate. Tickets will be $8 plus processing fees and will be needed upon entry for K-12 students and all adults. IGHSAU/IHSAA administrator passes will be accepted.

Signs will be posted. Please do not enter areas marked WRESTLERS/COACHES ONLY, NO SPECTATORS BEYOND THIS POINT, DO NOT ENTER.
